Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation

Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation

The Siller Family started the Stephen Siller “Tunnel to Towers” Foundation to honor the memory of their brother, Stephen, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11 after strapping on gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. The goal of the Foundation is to continue Stephen’s legacy by supporting our nation’s first responders and service members. Tunnel to Towers also established the Hurricane Sandy Relief Fund in which they aid smaller organizations such as Yellow Boots and Guyon Rescue in assisting the many families throughout NYC who have experienced the incredible loss and devastation of this epic storm.

Building for America's Bravest

Building For America’s Bravest

Building for America’s Bravest is a program of the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation that builds Smart Homes for our most catastrophically injured service members returning home. Each home is custom designed to address the unique needs of each individual. Energy efficient, automated and easily accessible these homes use “adaptive technology” to help our most severely injured heroes live better, more independent lives. When the call came, these brave service members went. They made extraordinary sacrifices in our place. With your support, Building for America’s Bravest can provide them a home they can come home to.

Wounded Warrior Project

Wounded Warriors Project

Wounded Warrior Project serves veterans and service members who incurred a physical or mental injury, illness, or wound, co-incident to their military service on or after September 11, 2001 and their families. Many warriors felt a sense of duty to volunteer for the military following the events that day. This tragedy also served as a stimulus for Operations Iraqi Freedom, Enduring Freedom, and New Dawn in support of the Global War on Terror. With the mission to honor and empower our Wounded Warriors, WWP is the hand extended to encourage warriors as they adjust to their new normal and achieve new triumphs. Offering a variety of programs and services, WWP is equipped to serve warriors with every type of injury—from the physical to the invisible wounds of war.
