Carnegie Hall “Octavo” Choral Performance Tours
In association with Manhattan Concert Productions
The Octavo Series is our most popular event for high schools. Qualified ensembles participating in the Octavo Series will collaborate with nationally recognized guest conductors and other choirs from across the United States to perform exciting repertoire. A distinctive variety of six shorter works is selected for performance at home preceding an excellent artistic experience during your New York City tour.
Participating singers will experience rehearsals under the direction of an outstanding conductor and music educator while sharing and developing musicianship skills that will benefit the performer far beyond their tour experience in New York City.
Culminating your visit will be a memorable celebratory reception with your fellow musicians. We look forward to welcoming you to the New York City and an experience of a lifetime!
Please Note: Ensembles will have the opportunity to perform in a number of legendary venues, including Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully & Avery Fisher Halls at Lincoln Center in NYC, and Orchestra Hall, Symphony Hall in Chicago.
